Current Bible verse.

16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall propser; and every tongue that shall rise up against thee in judgement thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

ahhh, ngitsh' amathe u kno where

Izolo @ work , we were just talking abt AIDS, somehow the discussion managed to lurk its head again after dinner today.

Em: I wonder if the poor people in Africa know anything abt sex.
(Me:Ohh no she didn't) inwardly .
Gwen: I have no idea ask our friend here(pointing to me)
Em: Well, Lisa hun, tell me do people in Africa kno anything abt sex.
Me: (Having had it and quite pissed ukuthi ngumbuzo bani wonalowo) Duhh Em, how else would I be here standing in front of you.( Ikhanda lam' selibila)
Em: No, hun seriously do they know anything abt sex, I mean why else would there be so much AIDS in Africa.

So there I was educating an 86 year old as to why there is AIDS in Africa, I mean I covered everything from pple thinking its a gay pple's/white pple's disease, polygamous relationships, lack of education, availability of education, but mere refusal to accept change or for some places language barrier, lack of resources, and in some cases the poor housewife who has no say in anything concerning her sex life because she is not the bread winner, and she fears, he might leave her stranded with those kids, or the case where a teen, has to be in the sextrade to send his or her siblings to school, and the fact that in some places, discussing sex is taboo. Felt I covered a lot of ground .

Me: U kno Em, I was shocked to see a homeless person in Canada, because when we are in Africa, America is portrayed as the perfect society. Then when u are here Africa is portrayed as a very poor and primitive place, nothing good is ever shown, and then that is when I get questions such as," How did you feel when u wore clothes for the first time/ or when u lived in a house for the first time.?"

Em: Wow, I now understand, and I had no idea that people can be so ignorant.

As I sit here and blog, it just hit me that this masgogo is equally as ignorant as the pple who ask stupid questions, and ngizwa ngicaphuka. If you are to ask a question like, "Do pple in Africa kno anything about sex?" what exactly are u getting at.

Firstly if Africans didn't kno jack abt sex then we would be extint by now.Secondly if animals and plants can reproduce, are we saying African pple, are some species of aliens that don't reproduce?, and thirdly are saying that because the pple in discussion are Africans, they don't have feelings towards each other and as such sex is not a normal part of their lives?

I mean I have had insulting questions but this by far was the most insulting of all.
